[Board1] OIC Meeting - January 2026

Two issues that my Regulatory Counsel suggested we bring up are:

  1.  Highlight the VA and TN bulletins and UT enforcement actions regarding AOLs.
  2.  NAIC Title Shopping Tool, this is a new tool if they are not already aware.

She mentioned just sharing these with the OIC. However, if we want some talking points on these issues, I can have some drafted.

The OIC is asking if the WLTA could meet (virtually) with them on January 12th at 230pm. They are still deciding if they would like part of that meeting to include education regarding title insurance.

I will be unavailable this day, and Ashley Callahan also has a conflict during this time, but if enough folks are able to attend, I would like to get this meeting scheduled as it seems they would like to move forward as soon as possible.

Please let me know if January 12th will work for you.

Is anyone willing to volunteer to be the WLTA contact/facilitator at the meeting?
