Thanks, Paul. That could indeed be an issue, especially coupled with the economy. Note that we do have a lot of potential vendor attendees on our list of invitees (over 70), so the potential is there – If we can get 15 we’ll be in line with the last two conventions. 

 

Attached is my list of vendors and contacts made or planned. First list are vendors who attended our last two conventions. Second list is other vendors that I know about or have dealt with in the past, etc.

 

I sent a full broadcast email to almost all of them (a few were added to the second list after I sent the email). I’ve sent additional individual emails to all in the first list and a couple in the second list and more are planned as shown in purple.

 

5 say they’ll come, 3 are interested and looking into it (showing a question mark), and only 2 “nos”. None have mentioned a conflict with another event.

 

If any of you have contacts with any of the potentials, feel free to contact them and encourage them to come…

We might have a few vendors not being able to come. I was talking to a couple of vendors for my security panel, and they were already committed. Our convention is the exact same dates as NS3 in Florida. Just FYI as it is pretty well attended kind of like a mini ALTA One.
