Regarding the FIRPTA payments, I think the title industry is exempt from that requirement to make an electronic payment.  Let me find the language I am referring to for the exemption and I will follow up.

Hello Board Members,

For your information, Bill Ronhaar graciously did a redline of OIC's proposed new rule clarifying title insurance programs.  Please see the first two attached emails.

Also, we did not discuss at last week's meeting the fact that FIRFTA payments are going electronic.  Linda Borsell with CW Title emailed me about it - third attachment - and I said that I would forward her email to the WLTA Board in case anyone wanted to respond.
