effective July 27, 2025. E2SSB 5686 amends the Deeds of Trust Act, chapter
61.24 RCW, to expand and fund the Foreclosure Fairness Program overseen by
the Department of Commerce. Section 8 of E2SSB 5686 requires the assessment
and collection of the new Foreclosure Prevention Fee.
