[Wtpcommittee] 2024 Convention - WTP Credits for Sessions

Good afternoon WTP Committee Members. I have submitted all six hours of
sessions to the Bar Association requesting MCLE credit. Attached is the
information submitted, patterned after how we submit for MCLE credits for
our seminars.

 

Note that I have asked for ethic credit for Session 4. Hopefully the Bar
will accept that categorization. The others are requested as "Law and
Legal". I am not sure whether we will get approval for all of them, Sessions
2 and 3 in particular. I suspect that Session 1 (the ALTA session) is 50/50,
considering the subject matter includes FinCen, fraud, etc. We'll see. In
any event, I would assume that we'll get at least 3 and hopefully more.

 

I've sent attendees (other than vendors, guests, etc.) an attendance
confirmation sheet. Even if the attendees mark all six, if the Bar does not
allow all sessions it will only count those sessions that are approved.

 

That brings me to the WTP credits. I think the Committee should decide the
applicability of each of these sessions for WTP Credit. I think most of the
WTP Committee members attended were at the convention, so the group ought to
have sufficient knowledge about the topics to make that decision.

just to me) as to whether you would approve all six hours for WTP credit,
and if not, which you would include and which you would exclude.
