[Legislativecommittee1] Why can't DOR just give a straight answer??

Hi, on this topic I have received a couple of questions and cannot myself find the answers:

  1.  I’ve seen in the FAQs there is a 20 day requirement. However, I wasn’t seeing it anywhere else. Are we able to bulk remit?
  2.  What is the penalty for missing a fee remittance?

Am I missing something here? How is this different from recording fees (or excise tax, etc.) collected from the buyer, seller or borrower, etc. "on behalf of" the county recorder or auditor, or the Department of Revenue, or the Department of [fill in the blank]?
