Good afternoon - House Bill 2140 would basically abolish adverse possession.  It's up for its first hearing tomorrow.  When we discussed this on the call recently, I said I'd check with Dwight on the position the WLTA had taken on other adverse possession bills in years gone by.  Dwight told JP and me that this was roughly the fifth time he was aware of that the legislature had considered a bill to get rid of adverse possession and that the WLTA had opposed the past bills.   I'm planning on presenting testimony in opposition to the bill.  I'll circulate draft testimony when I have it.  Please reply if you have concerns.
