Hello judiciary committee members –

Attached is the WA Supreme Court’s decision on a case we reported on in our 2023 For Land’s Sake Newsletter.  The Supreme Court reversed the Ct. of Appeals and held Velazquez Framing did not need a pre-lien notice for labor and remanded to the lower court to figure out how much of the lien amount was attributable to labor (not materials, etc).  I think I reported on this one so I will do a summary for the next board meeting.  This is an fyi.

If anyone has other cases for next month, let me know.
