Craig, the room where we’ll eat breakfast will have the rounds where we’ll watch the speakers, etc. after they start at 8 (actually, your welcome starts then). Food will be served from buffet tables next door or across the hall, but will be brought it to the main room and some people might just find where they want to sit for the session, and eat there. 

There will also be a few rounds and/or “bistro” tables where you can stand to eat (taller tables, no chairs) probably towards the rear of the room. But, we could have at least one round table with 8 chairs not located in this area, and that will have a Washington State flag on in, and a “Reserved” sign. 

That is where we’ll want to direct the Senator, and where we hope she can chat with however many Board members (at least you, Jim, Sean and JP, I would assume) can fit around there.

However, we can put that flag and sign on another table where she and you all want to sit as the meeting starts. She can then leave that table when she is ready to go.

That might be better. As long as our members who want to talk with her are aware of the point of that table with the flag and sign….

I have not heard anything about a room. I assume she know we start at 7…

Hello – apologies for my delay in responding.  

I believe a room is available, but your office would have to arrange.  You may indicate the reservation is tied to the PNW Title Convention.  If Skamania Lodge is full, please let me know and the WLTA will see if other arrangements can be made.

Our invitation stemmed from a desire to give Senator Kuderer an opportunity to observe some discussion sessions and socialize with members of the title industry at the social event Tuesday evening. Senator Kuderer is welcome to provide a short remark (5-10 min) at the evening event covering matters she is interested in.  If Senator Kuderer wished, WLTA could cover her meal costs for Tuesday’s dinner.

Alternatively, WLTA board members are also willing to sit down with Senator Kuderer for coffee or lunch to have a more intimate discussion about the OIC and the title industry.   Such a sit down could be in the Seattle Metro area or other convenient location for the Senator.

Please let me know the Senator’s preference.
