[Conventioncommittee1] Schedule a Meeting?

I think we should have a Convention Committee meeting before the Board
meeting on April 19. Here are some suggested times:

 

Monday, April 2 - 10 a.m. or 3 p.m.

Tuesday, April 3  - 10 a.m. or 3 p.m.

Thursday, April 5 - 10 a.m. or 3 p.m.

 

Let me know what works for you - or another time altogether. I'll send out a
Zoom invite.

 

Topics to discuss:

 

Room block: We have pretty much reached the limit for our room block. There
are only 4 nights left for Monday. There are about 15 for Tuesday, but it's
unlikely that reservations will be used for just that night. So, once 4 more
attendees take the remaining Monday nights (with a Tuesday as well), we'll
need to refer attendees to other options nearby. Skamania can't do that
effectively (their registration operation is not local), so I'll have to
send an email. Will want to do that anyway in a reminder email to register
to attend.

 

I'll include options for rooms. There are two places within 5 minutes and
another about 30 minutes away.
