[Conventioncommittee1] Skamania Contract Addendum

Another question for the Committee.

 

We originally set the rooms at 3 for Sunday night, 75 for Monday night and
70 for Tuesday night. I suspect we'll get more demand than that, but time
will tell. 

 

Room supply is limited.

 

I have asked about the cost of adding an additional 15 room nights (for a
total of 18) for Sunday night. They have sent me an addendum to the contract
for that number at just under $4,000. We should be able to cover that cost
if the rooms are spoken for. I frankly am not sure that is enough, and could
ask for more. I suspect more attendees than 18 will want to check in Sunday
and not Monday morning.

 

I am prepared to sign the addendum. Skamania already "added" the rooms to
our block, and so far 6 (out of 13 attendees, including 2 vendors) of the
attendees have opted to check in Monday.

 

Is the committee OK with the addendum? 

 

BTW, we have 4 vendors signed up already.
