Good affternoon - please see the attached letter that ALTA will be submitting  in support of H.R. 3206, a bill introduced in the House of Representantives, that would require title insurance or another state-regulated product to be issued in connection with

 all federally backed mortgages.  ALTA is asking state land title associations to sign on in support.  At Ashley Callahan's request I am forwarding this to all voting members of the WLTA board.  If you support WLTA joining the letter, please let me know as

 soon as possible, but in any case by close of business next Tuesday, October, 28.  If a majority of the board supports signing on to the letter, I will notify ALTA.  Thanks.</div>
