those of other types of insurance (P&C or health) due to the fact that we are communicating with and collecting NPI from many additional parties beyond our insured as stated in the letter.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="xmsonormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">“The second draft of 284-30-340 now allows an insurer to withhold third-party financial information but requires production of a log indicating what the withheld information is and the reason.
The second draft does not say who receives the log (the OIC or the insured), what “legally privileged” means outside of litigation discovery, or how disputes as to the application of a privilege would be resolved. Also, the second draft doesn’t address our
concerns for added litigation risk and administrative burden.”</span><o:p></o:p></p>
