I have a room available for Sen. Kuderer for Monday night, should she choose
to use it. It's available as part of our block, but she or one of her staff
might need to contact me first, to get the reservation number. I'll also
make sure it will be in her name, and not the WLTA. 

 

Once she has that number she would use it to check in at the front desk and
pay for it. It is not pre-paid. That should work out for that question.

Sounds good. Some questions:

 

1.	It'll be an early start on Tuesday. Will she stay the night on
Monday? Our block expires today, and I think there may be a room available
for that night only (we used out block for both nights - all of Tuesday's
were used, so those wanting both nights are out of luck. I'll have them hold
one room in case, and she can make the reservation. Reservations are paid by
the attendee, so that's not a problem.

2.	Our breakfast is buffet starting at 7. I assume that's OK? It's more
practical, we'll all be there when the meetings start (same room) at 8. Send
her an invoice? Having a breakfast elsewhere at the lodge with some Board
members would be tough to fit that into an hour time frame.

Senator Kuderer's team indicated the Senator would like to meet with us for
breakfast on the 21st (Tues) of May at the convention and then stay for a
few sessions.   The First two sessions of substance on the agenda are
Richard Welshons, ALTA President-Elect, and Mason Virant, Univ of WA
economist, followed by Jim Blair's session.   The Senator would not stay the
entire day or attend the Tuesday evening social event.

 

The Senator's team made it clear the Senator would cover her costs.
